How long will it take to build my table?

Production of your custom table takes approximately 2-4 weeks to complete.

Do you require a deposit?

Yes. We require a minimum of a 50% deposit of the price before taxes before initiating the production of your order.

What kinds of materials and finishes do you use?

All of our Vitto tables are built with local British Columbia Red Oak and stained/lacquered with the finest most ecological and toxic free stain on the market.

Our stains and coatings come from CBR Products using their Broda product line which provides eco-friendly LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) compliant polyurethane finishes.

Do you provide in home assembly?

Yes, delivery and assembly within Metro Vancouver is included. Estimates for deliveries and/or installation outside of Metro Vancouver are available upon request. Once you have placed your order, our service department will contact you to arrange a day and time that works best for you.

How should I clean and care for my table?

For cleaning your table, we recommend a damp cloth using a mild dish detergent. Please do not use furniture polish or any type of chemicals on your table as it may not react well with the stain that has been applied. Protecting your table by using placemats, table clothes or coasters is also recommended.

Please note that wood will naturally age over time. It also is prone to subtle color changes if exposed to direct sunlight, especially if you have objects consistently in the same position. We suggest that you move and rotate them from time to time if your piece is in an area that receives direct sunlight.

Also note that wood will naturally expand and contract with fluctuating temperatures and humidity. Try to maintain consistent levels if possible.

What is your return/cancellation policy?

All of our products are custom made and, as such, we cannot accept returns or refunds once production has began. However, if notified with a 48 hour period, we can cancel your order.

Where do you ship?

Primarily, anywhere in the lower mainland, this includes Metro-Vancouver and the Fraser Valley. For customers outside of the lower mainland, estimates for delivery are available upon request.

What are the delivery charges?

Delivery and assembly is free if you live within Metro Vancouver or the Fraser Valley.  For customers outside of the lower mainland, estimates for delivery are available upon request.

What are your shipping methods?

The Vitto dining table is personally delivered and assembled by one of our service specialist.

When will my item be delivered?

Once your order has been completed, we will notify you by email or telephone. At this time, we would set up an appointment with you to deliver and assemble your product as well as to confirm the address that you would like it to be delivered to.

Can I pick up my order?

We would prefer to deliver directly to you to ensure that your piece arrives perfect and undamaged. We can only guarantee our product if we are able to deliver it to you.

How do i prepare for the delivery?

We want the delivery and assembly as painless for you as possible therefore we will have plastic shoe protectors to ensure that we do not compromise your flooring. We just ask that you provide a clear path from entry to the pre-determined location that you would like to have your piece set up.

What methods of payment do you accept?

We accept credit cards from Visa and MasterCard. We also accept money orders, certified cheques and e-transfers.

Can I place an order over the phone instead of online?

Is it safe to use my credit card on your website?

When will my credit card be charged for my order?

Payment schedules vary depending on the purchase. For specific payment schedules, please refer to the Sales Process Instructions in our product checkout.

Can I pay in US dollars?

Yes, however our products are only available for purchase by Canadian residents at this time.

What does the final price include?

Prices include delivery and installation for Metro-Vancouver residents. Additional delivery charges may apply for product destinations outside Metro-Vancouver. Provincial Sales Tax (PST) and Government Sales Tax (GST) is applicable and added to all prices at checkout.

Can I cancel my order?

Yes, we stand behind our product 100%. At Brutus Strong Wood, you can expect your product to be made with quality materials and expert craftsmanship. We guarantee that your order will be accurate and that it will arrive in perfect condition during our transport and delivery. When we arrive to deliver your product, we will go over it with you to confirm that everything is as it should be and shall there be an issues, they will be addressed and dealt with fairly.
